Expansion of Operations

In 2017, we expanded our reach by including Jhargram as a separate district in our operational area.

Establishment of Project Office

We set up a project office and residential accommodation at Banstala, Jhargram, on our own 1.65-acre land. This facility serves as a hub for our activities in the district.

Operational Highlights:

From our Banstala project office, we operate several initiatives aimed at benefiting the local community.

My Bharat Future Youth Leader’s Bootcamp

 MY BHARAT Future Youth Leader’s Bootcamp was organized by Mera Yuva Bharat under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Govt. of India at Jhargram from 29th December 2025 to 31st December 2025 at Chak Kumar Association for Social Service, Banstala Project Office, Banstala, P.O.- Bodhana, District- Jhargram, West Bengal.

The three-day bootcamp aimed at nurturing leadership qualities, enhancing skills, and motivating youth towards active participation in youth parliament, community development and nation-building. The programme brought together young participants and provided them with a platform to develop confidence, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility.

Various sessions and activities were conducted focusing on leadership development, communication skills, personality building, and awareness on social issues. Interactive discussions, group activities, and practical exercises were key components of the bootcamp, encouraging active engagement and learning among participants.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation and created a positive learning environment for the youth. Overall, the bootcamp was conducted successfully and contributed significantly towards empowering young individuals to become responsible and future leaders of society.

Fruits And Vegetable Training Program

The Fruits and Vegetable Training Program was organized with the objective of promoting self-employment and economic development among young artisans. The training was conducted with 10 Nos. young artisans from 06.02.2026 to 15.02.2026 at Banpura, Sankrail, Jhargram, sanctioned order no. WB/SO/KVIC/ABFPI/2025-26 dtd. 12.12.2025.

The Fruits and Vegetables Training Program was successfully completed with active participation from all the trainees. After completion of training all trainees got certificate of Honors from the State Director KVIC and eligible for register with MSME Udyam, bank linkage under Mudra Lone. Our Association is in close contact with all the beneficiaries for completion of aforesaid criteria’s and fulfill their goal and achievement.

Bee Keeping Training Programme

The Bee Keeping Training Program was organized with the objective of promoting self-employment and economic development among young women artisans. The training was conducted with 20 Nos. young women artisans from 19.01.2026 to 28.01.2026 at Banstala, Bodhana, Jhargram, WB/SO/KVIC/FBI/2025- 26 dtd. 12.12.2025.

The Bee Keeping Training Program was successfully completed with active participation and enthusiasm from the trainees. Toolkits Distribution Program (DC Handicrafts) :

The Toolkits Distribution Program in Applique Work (Bamboo Craft) was implemented as per Section with the objective of strengthening traditional artisans engaged in Applique craft by providing them with modern, standardized, and crafts pecific toolkits. Applique work is a renowned traditional handicraft of West Bengal, known for its intricate designs, vibrant colors, and bamboo-supported structures used for decorative and utility purposes. The program was designed to enhance productivity, improve product quality, reduce manual drudgery, and ensure sustainable livelihood generation for artisans belonging largely to economically weaker sections.

Chaupal Interaction With D C Handicraft Artisan:

A Chaupal Interaction with handicraft artisans was held at Banstala, Bodhana, Jhargram, West Bengal on 27th February 2026. The programme was organized by the Handicraft Service Centre, Kolkata under the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.

The programme was conducted in an interactive manner, encouraging open dialogue between officials and artisans. 50 New artisans enrolled their name for artisan card and 10 artisan applied credit facility under Mudra Loan to the commercial Bank in the program.                                                                                                                                                        

International Child Rights Day and Week Celebration & Award Distribution

Our Association celebrated International Child Rights Day and Week Program on 20thNovember, 2025, at Banstala, Jhargram campus, bringing together one hundred and fifty children and dedicated social workers advocating for child rights and protection. The event featured various activities performed by children.

We honored eminent individuals who have voluntarily worked tirelessly to promote child rights, recognizing their outstanding contributions. The award distribution ceremony was graced by the presence of the Sabhadhipati of Jhargram Zilla Parishad, BWO, CDPO, and other officials, who presented certificates of honor to the awardees.

Tree Plantation Programme

Tree plantation programme was held on 5th June 2025 by ourAssociation at Jhargram campus. 400 trees were planted in the surroundings of Jhargram campus area.

Hostel For Tribal Boys:

Since 2022, our Association has been operating a hostel for tribal boys at Banstala, Bodhona in Jhargram district, with the fulfill the prime objectives of empowering tribal boys through education and shelter and providing residential support to hundred (100) students. Our comprehensive approach includes – quality education, minimize drop-out rate, personal growth and holistic development.

Consumer Awareness Programme:

Our Association organized Consumer Awareness Programme at Jhargram Campus for local people to motivate and gathering knowledge, rights and protection for a consumer as per consumer act. Solution procedure and support from consumer Grievance forum etc. This year 500 common people participated in the programme and gathering knowledge from the camp and 15 consumers were filed before the district Consumer Grievance Forum for passing necessary order/ direction.

Self Employment Training Programem

In collaboration with RSETI origination our association held Papad, Agarbati, Cake Chocolate and Masala Papad Pickle training at our campus. Many beneficiaries got these facilities in residential mode after completion of the training they were provided certificates
