Youth Development

 

     Our Association, in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Paschim Medinipur, has been actively fostering youth leadership and community engagement.

     We organized a Youth Club Development Programme at our campus with the participation of 45 youths from Paschim Medinipur and Jhargram districts. The programme, inaugurated by government officials and NYK representatives, included sessions on leadership, voluntary action, and community development, inspiring youths to contribute through their local clubs.

     We also hosted two District Level Neighbourhood Youth Parliament Programmes on 05.03.2023 — one at Debra Thana Sahid Kshudiram Smriti Mahavidyalaya Ground with 1600 participants, and another at Banstala, Jhargram with 1500 participants. These Mock Parliaments encouraged discussion on key issues, including the proposed bill to raise the legal marriage age for women, while dignitaries and experts enriched participants with their valuable insights.
