CSR Activities and their impact on Society
1. Computer skills for vulnerable children to ensure computer literacy and promote Digital India programme was extended for vulnerable children of Juvenile Home under CSR activities of National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) in the year 2024-25.
Impact:
● 200 vulnerable children of Juvenile Home run by the Association got direct benefit from the programme. vulnerable children have been empowered with essential computer skills
● Improve their computer knowledge, skill and career prospects
● Increasing their capacity building and enhance their digital literacy
● Promote digital citizenship and online safety awareness
● Support this initiative and promotes of Digital India
2. Promotion of education for vulnerable children at Juvenile Home LICI Kharagpur Divisional office provided furniture for classroom under their CSR activities in the year 2024-25
Impact:
● Education for vulnerable children with joyful learning
● Stopped school dropout
● Enjoy childhood and learning with audio visual.
3. Food and Learning computer for vulnerable children at our Juvenile Home under JSW Cement, Salboni plant office extended their support service on Grocery goods learning computer at our Juvenile Home(Boys), Chakkumar in the year 2024-25 under their CSR activities.100 vulnerable children got the benefit.
Impact:-
● After getting food and learning computer children were very happy and they continued their learning at home merrily.
● Children are happily living in the room getting nutritious and healthy food.
4. Food and Learning materials for vulnerable children at our Juvenile Home under ABS Fujitsu General Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata office extended their support service on Grocery goods learning materials at our Juvenile Home(Boys), Chakkumar in the year 2021-22 and 2022-23 under their CSR scheme.100 vulnerable children got the materials.
Impact:–
● After getting food and learning materials children were very happy and they continued their learning at home merrily.
● Children are happily living in the room getting nutritious and healthy food.
5. Primary School Building Construction under MSTC Ltd. CSR in the year 2018-19 MSTC Ltd (Govt. of India undertaking) extended their financial support to construct classroom of Chakkumar Primary School recognized and aided under Govt. of West Bengal has been running since 1952. There are near about 250 tribal minority and general children learning in the school with 06 teachers. The school has no proper teaching room. For this purpose our Association submitted proposals for construction of classroom at Chakkumar Primary School to the MSTC Ltd. under their CSR scheme.
Impact:-
● Getting new permanent classrooms the students and parents are happy.
● The parents are enthusiast to send their children in school for learning.
● The teachers are also getting concentration in the learning atmosphere.
● The teachers also can exhibit teaching learning materials among the children and children also enjoy the learning system.
● The school building get up and environment has been promoted for child education
