Aged Care & Protection

 

As part of our ongoing commitment to the welfare of elderly citizens, this year our Association organized a special distribution programme at our Jhargram Project Office under the Aged Welfare Initiative. The event aimed to extend support, care, and recognition to poor and underprivileged aged individuals in the region.

During the programme, 80 elderly beneficiaries received essential items including:

• Blankets for warmth and comfort

• Walking sticks to aid mobility

• Clothing to ensure dignity and well-being

The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries and government officials, including:

• Savadhipati, Jhargram Zilla Parishad

• Block Welfare Officer (BWO)

• Child Development Project Officer (CDPO)

• Other respected local officials

Their presence and words of appreciation added immense value to the programme and encouraged us in our mission to serve the elderly community with compassion and dignity.

We remain committed to continuing such initiatives that uplift and support the aged, ensuring they live their lives with respect, security, and care.
